Program Coordinator Internship -

Azalea Blossom Incorporated, a small not for profit 501c3 organization dedicated to the awareness, education, and prevention of domestic violence through the use of the Arts, is currently seeking a dedicated Program Director Intern to handle the following responsibilities:

Assist with implementing the SAFE through the Arts program in public middle schools throughout New York State.
Write and document press releases.
Organize documents including release forms & contracts for programs.
Help to coordinate the assembly concert details with the band and sound engineer.
Oversee the editing and reproduction of the SAFE handbooks.
Coordinate community service projects.
Photograph student work and participation in the SAFE program.
Attendance at and videotaping of the culminating assembly concert.
Supply photographs, student work, and press pertaining to the program to the web master.
Maintain the SAFE through the Arts My Space and Facebook pages.

Computer Literate (Mac v 6, Microsoft Office).

Current or previous enrollment in Education Curriculum Courses.
