Azalea Blossom receives grant from Stewarts Shops
Azalea Blossom, Incorporated, Margaret’s not for profit 501c3 organization, recently received $500 from Stewarts Shops for the SAFE through the Arts program. SAFE through the Arts is a weeklong program that uses the creative and performing arts to educate middle school students on the prevention of bullying, violence and abusive relationships. SAFE through the Arts has taken place in seven counties throughout New York State to date. This is the third consecutive year in which Stewarts Shops has given support to the SAFE through the Arts program. Please visit our SAFE page for more information.

Happy Azaleation Day!
Several years ago on March 8th, Margaret wrote her song “Azalea”, which later planted the seeds for the forming of her Growing Azalea Music Productions; her not for profit organization, Azalea Blossom, Incorporated; and her original children’s musical, ‘The Little Seed”. The concept of Azalea is to celebrate the uniqueness and beauty within each of us. “Azaleation Day” also coincidently coincides with International Women’s Day.

Pepsi Refresh Project
Thank you for voting for the SAFE through the Arts program in the Pepsi Refresh Project during the month of January. Although Azalea Blossom, Incorporated did not win the $250,000, we raised awareness about the program and consistently improved our ranks throughout the campaign, which we could not have done without your help. Pepsi Refresh in January!
We have received final confirmation from the Pepsi Refresh Project that we have been approved for January! Vote NOW to “Teach the SAFE through the Arts violence prevention program in schools”.
Upcoming SAFE through the Arts programs
Upcoming SAFE through the Arts programs include a week residency at Mont Pleasant Middle School in Schenectady, New York during the first week of January and a program at the Boys and Girls Club of Albany, New York. These programs are made possible through generous support of the New Heritage Music Foundation aw well as individual contributions. Please visit our SAFE page for more information.
