Immediate Opening:
SAFE through the Arts Program Administrative Assistant
Azalea Blossom, Incorporated currently has an immediate opening for an administrative assistant for the SAFE through the Arts program. The position is a three- month probationary part-time position (M, T, W, F; 8 am-1PM) offered at $11.75 an hour. Benefits include workman’s comp insurance, disability insurance, and the option to buy into a group health insurance plan. The job description for the position is as follows:
Organize and fax documents including release forms and contracts for programs at schools.
Write and document press releases pertaining to the program.
Update and manage the program database.
Coordinate mailings of brochures to schools.
Help to coordinate the assembly program details with the band members and sound engineer.
Oversee the editing and reproduction of the SAFE handbooks.
Upload photographs to our social media sites.
Organize files pertaining to the program.
Maintain the SAFE through the Arts My Space, Twitter and Facebook pages.
Attend Arts in Education fairs as a representative for the program.
Assist with implementing the program in public middle schools by making follow up phone calls.
Order supplies and keep track of inventory for the program as needed.
Oversee the SAFE through the Arts section of the Azalea Blossom website.

Bachelors Degree
Previous volunteer work in our organization or similar organization.
Computer Literate (Mac v 6, Microsoft Office, photoshop).
